BBQ Pork with Turmeric and Lemongrass
Easy and delicious BBQ pork recipe that you and your family will enjoy long after the summer has ended.

Ingredients
  • 900g shoulder of pork
  • 2stick Lemongrasscut into 2 inches and bashed
  • 1cube chicken stock
  • 2tbs Turmeric powder
  • 3tbs Honey
  • 2tbs Soy Sauce
  • 1tbs Garlic Powder
  • 3tbs olive oil
  • 1/2tsp white pepper
  • pinch salt
Instructions
  1. Make the marinade by mashing the stock cube with the olive oil until well combined. Then add the remaining marinade ingredients and give it a good mix.
  2. Cut the pork shoulder into cubes, What size? I call it “2 bites” size. As in you can eat it in 2 bites. Marinade the pork in the marinade over night in the fridge if you can. Minimum of 4 hours if you do not have the time. Before you put the pork away I would take one pice of the pork and cook it in a non stick pan just to check that you are happy with the flavour. Adjusting the seasoning as require.
  3. Removed the pork from the fridge to let it come to room temperature before cooking it. You can cook this in any way you like. On the BBQ, in a non stick pay or on a griddle it is down to you. it should take about 15 to 20 minutes to cook. Cut one to check that it is cook through before serving.
