I love pork belly, it is such underrated cut. I am not saying it is the healthiest cut of pork but it is delicious. You can cook them in so many different ways, I fried them in crispy batter, marinated and BBQ and of course in my Belly Pork Chilli Con Carne. If you love pork belly then you must try it. Actually my neighbour who does not like pork belly who help taste test the Belly Pork Chilli Con Carne recipe loved it too.
Back to this recipe Braised Pork Belly. This recipe is versatile, it is great served with rice, roast potatoes and vegetable, stir fried noodles, noodles soup and my favourite BBQ.
You can Braised Pork Belly ahead and warm it up as and when you need it. making it a great dish for when you have dinner party.
