Ice Coffee Panna Cotta is my take on Thai Ice Coffee. Panna Cotta is a great dessert for when you are having people over for dinner. It is easy to make and you can make it ahead of time.
I loved this dessert, Mr M however hates it. not because it is not nice! (because it is) but because he had to eat it about 10 times before I got it right. I was trying to use agar agar as a setting agent and just could not get it right. it was ether too soft or rock hard. In the end I had to go with gelatine.
This dessert is my interpretation on my memory of Thai Ice Coffee.
Thai Ice Coffee is very different from the ice coffee you get in the west. The coffee is very strong, sweet and full of flavour, poured over ice then the cherry on the cake is that it is topped with condensed milk. althought I think that might be how my mum made for me.
