Quick Teriyaki Chicken
Quick and easy weekday dinner. using ready made sauce to make life easier.
boneless chicken thighs
readymade teriyaki sauce
long stem broccoli
sugar snap peasor any vegetables you have will do just fine
Heat 1 tbs of olive oil in a large pan on a high heat. Add chicken and fry till brown on both sides (about 2 minutes on each side).
Once the chicken is nice and brown add in the Teriyaki sauce and water and give it a good stir. Place lid on the pan and turn the heat down to medium and cook the chicken for 3 minutes.
Stir in the vegetables, cover till the vegetables are done. Remove the lid and cook for 1 more minutes to thicken the sauce a little. Check that the chicken are cooked and the sauce is to your liking and that is it.
You can serve the chicken with rice or noodles.
