Thai Mixed Seafood with Garlic Pasta
Thai mixed seafood with garlic pasta is my take on the popular Spaghetti Marinara. The recipe is so easy and quick to make that it makes for a perfect weekday dinner.

  • 12 Raw king prawnsdeveined and shelled
  • 6 baby squidclean and cut to bite size
  • 4 scallopsclean as require
  • 4cloves garlic – peeled
  • 2 black pepper corn
  • 3 coriander rootsor a good pinch of the stems.
  • 1pinch corianderchopped
  • 1/2tbs fish sauce
  • 1/2tbs sugar
  • 2tbs oyster sauce
  • 1tbs Soy Sauce
  • 1tbs olive oil
  • 300g spaghetti¬†cooked to al dente
  • 3tbs water
  • 1tsp sugar
  1. First make the paste by pounding together the garlic, pepper and coriander roots in a pestle and mortar. Prepare all your seafood making sure they are cleaned and deveined as require.
  2. Heat up the wok with the oil and add in the garlic and pepper paste stirring quickly to make sure you don’t burn the paste.
  3. Add in the prepared seafood, fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, water, sugar and cook for 3-5 minutes until it is cooked through. Please make sure not to overcook your seafood. Check the flavour, it should be garlicky and salty. Toss in the spaghetti and chopped coriander at the last minute. And serve! Delizioso
