5 Dishes you should eat during the Six Nations

5 dishes you should eat during the Six Nations. Chips and peanut sauce, Red curry pie, roasted potatoes, Dave’s burger and Slow cooked fruity lamb curry.

I have a lot of love for Rugby. I don’t understand what is going on! but I have so many wonderfully memories of watching the games. One of the best memory is when England won the World cup. I was still running a pub then and we had about 2 hours sleep the night before the big game, as we pretty much kept the pub open all night. Mr M, headed into the kitchen with a sore head at 6am and started to make a Breakfast bap for 100s of people that would come in to watch the game. 2 sausages, 3 rashes of bacon, 2 fried eggs, fried mushroom, grilled tomato all sitting pretty on a giant bap. The kind of breakfast that will set you up for a day of drinking, and there was plenty of that. What happen after Johnny drop kick the ball was a bit of a blur but I think we had fun.

What I have learnt from that day was how important it was to eat. To make sure you have food in your tummy to help you survied the amount of alcohol you will be consuming. Note: that I am not encouraging you to go out drinking, I just know that it is what is going to happen.

Whether you are supporting England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Italy or France I thought I would give you a few dishes that are great for the occasion.
